Images & Thoughts... and occasional funny things

I am 29. I am anishinaabe. I'm from Canada. I enjoy many things...art, design, photography, ballet, well-tailored clothing, awesome boots, camping and the outdoors.

Make the most of everyday you have

Privately before the Opening Ceremony of the Crown-First Nations Gathering in Canada’s capital city of Ottawa on January 24, 2012, the Prime Minister of Canada presented three Elders – Dave Courchene, Bertha Commanda and Barney Williams Jr, with tobacco to share their words & prayers with the people. The Elders presented this gift of a scroll, one to Prime Minister Stephen Harper and one to National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations Shawn Atleo. The scroll highlights Ogitchi Tibakonigaywin — The Great Binding Law of Kizhay Manito (The Creator) and the Seven Teachings.
